What is anaphylaxis?

Anaphylaxis is a fast and severe allergic disorder, sometimes life threatening if not treated properly in time . It could be caused by food, drugs, vaccines and daily-used chemicals.

Anaphylaxis  is mediated by an immunologic mechanism (IgE, IgG, and immune complex [IC] complement-related). Based on the involvement of IgE, this reaction can be subclassified into IgE-mediated and not IgE-mediated reaction.
